To arrive into final in our first tournament where we play together and to win against a team as strong as Márcio/Ricardo will give us confidence. I am very satisfied”, will comment on Pedro Solberg after the match. To arrive in final, Alison and Emanuel needed to beat in semi-final Moisés/Ferramenta. Finally, the Olympic champion (Emanuel) and the “Mammoth” (Alison) won 15/21, 21/16 and 15/13. “I had many problems in the first set and needed to seek l’ space in a position different from that of which I am accustomed. But the important is that Alison helped me and our team grew at the time of this difficult passage”, affirms Emanuel.

As duplas decidirão o título da segunda etapa da temporada neste DOMINGO (30.01), às 11h, na arena montada na praia de Copacabana, em frente à Avenida Princesa Isabel.

Voltando a jogar juntos após um ano e meio separados, Pedro Cunha e Pedro Solberg desbancaram os medalhistas olímpicos Márcio e Ricardo, campeões das duas últimas etapas, conquistando a vaga na decisão após vitória por 2 sets a 0, com parciais de 23/21 e 22/20.

“Estamos tendo uma estreia bem melhor do que em 2009, quando começamos o ano com um resultado ruim. Chegar à final logo no primeiro torneio em que jogamos juntos e ganhar de um time fortíssimo como Márcio/Ricardo nos dá muita confiança de que as coisas vão dar certo. Estou muito satisfeito”, comemora Pedro Solberg.

Para chegar à decisão, Alison e Emanuel precisaram superar na semifinal Moisés/Ferramenta, dupla que lhes tirou a liderança da chave B, na sexta-feira. De virada, o campeão olímpico e o “Mamute” fizeram 15/21, 21/16 e 15/13.

“Viramos o jogo na superação. Temos tido dificuldade nos confrontos com eles, mas felizmente conseguimos reverter. Tive muitos problemas no primeiro set e precisei buscar espaço em uma posição diferente da que estou acostumado. Mas o importante é que o Alison me ajudou e nosso time cresceu no momento de dificuldade”, afirma Emanuel.

« Nous commençons l’année mieux que celle de 2009. Arriver en final dans premier tournoi où nous jouons ensemble et gagner contre une équipe aussi forte que Márcio/Ricardo va nous donner confiance. Je suis très satisfait », commentera Pedro Solberg après le match. Pour arriver en finale, Alison et Emanuel ont eu besoin de battre en demi-finale Moisés/Ferramenta. Finalement, le champion Olympique (Emanuel) et le « Mammouth » (Alison) ont gagné 15/21, 21/16 et 15/13. « J’ai eu beaucoup de problèmes dans le premier set et ai eu besoin de chercher de l’espace dans une position différente de celle dont je suis habitué. Mais l’important est que Alison m’a aidé et notre équipe a grandi lors de ce passage difficile », affirme Emanuel.
