A etapa brasileira do Circuito Mundial de Vôlei de Praia (FIVB Beach Volleyball SWATCH World Tour) tem início neste domingo, com as disputas do torneio « cota por país » (country quota) da categoria feminina, em que duplas do mesmo país buscam vagas no torneio classificatório. O evento acontece até o dia 23 de abril na arena montada na Esplanada dos Ministérios, em Brasília (DF), com entrada gratuita.
Na etapa de abertura do Circuito 2011, está prevista a realização do country quota entre duplas do Brasil. Renata/Michelle, Angela/Priscilla, Luana/Lili, Shaylyn/Val, Elize/Izabel e Raquel/Semírames são as representantes nacionais, que entram em quadra a partir das 14h.
